Q Technofit? Module 9 and Appendix 7 introduce the usage of technology for promotion of wellness. There are numerous tools, gadgets, and apps at our fingertips that can aid in the development of aerobic fitness, and other aspects of wellness such as a healthy body weight, stress relief, increased muscular strength, etc. It is now easier than ever to track exercise intensity, test aerobic capacity, track caloric consumption, measure distance traveled, and even garner social support. Which of the available tools/gadgets/apps do you find useful for improving/maintaining an area of wellness and why? If you have yet to find a helpful tool, what do you need/would you find helpful and why? You may also prefer to leave all of the technology behind... What works (or would work) for you?

Technology has certainly approved, allowing people to use their phones and other gadgets to help record their health fitness. I have found that I am reliant on my iPhone health apps. I use the standard health app to show my daily steps, as well as my average steps per week. This information helps show me what I should improve on and where I can improve it. If my average walking steps have decreased dramatically one week, I feel disappointed in myself and immediately try to improve the next week.
